How the idea helps:
Users can than transfer this info to people in the house and make everyone aware to turn off lights and cut down showers and use water less. Awareness of consumption will help users proactively reduce use and conserve.

I want to get notification when I am exceeding my water usage for this time last year or a threshold I have set.

How the idea helps:
No longer have to wait for the end of the month bill to see usage. If I knew I needed to cut back to stay under; I would change behavior immediately to obtain my reduction goals.
